Looking across the way to West Palm Beach
We read in some information that there was a really beautiful bike ride that goes around part of Palm Beach (18 miles long by 3/4 mile wide). Palm Beach is an island just off the coast of Florida you can access via a bridge. So we decided to unload the bikes for a ride and enjoy the scenery. It was a beautiful day with some beautiful views. Some of the bushes were maybe twenty feet high. Can you imagine keeping those trimmed. The flowers were breath taking. You could see a multitude of boats and ships sailing in the Intracoastal Waterway on the land side and in the Atlantic Ocean on the other side.
America’s most popular radio personality lives on one end of the island and the president of the U.S.A. stays at one of his places on the other end – Mar-a-Lago. We did not see many residents, but as you might imagine, there were land-scaping crews everywhere. Enjoy the pictures.
